RUTH- Legacy- Week 6 video

We have come to the last of the video's for our Study on the book of Ruth.  Chapter 4 closes with the genealogy of Ruth's and Boaz's descendants.  Kelly and the girls discuss Ruth's legacy which leads us to a perfect time to examine and ponder the legacy we are leaving to our own families.

Praying each day will find me "doing" what I am "saying" I want my legacy to be.

Penny's Peanut Butter Bars

Being friends with someone whose home always feels welcoming is a treasure.  Penny Ferreri's home fits that description to a tee.  If you haven't met Penny,  I know if I introduced you some of the first words she would say to you would be  "my home is always open".   Whether it is having coffee with a neighbor, giving a haircut to a primetimer,   babysitting a friend's child, or hosting a Bible study, Penny uses her home to bless others.

Join me in mixing up a batch of Penny's frequently requested PB bars and ask God to help us all be welcoming to others

Ruth: Week 5 Video

I've really appreciated viewing the "Ruth" videos of Kelly Minter and her friends.  Their display of friendship and love as they have met to cook, eat, and study together has really inspired me.  I love seeing the warmth, care, honesty, and acceptance  they display. I can tell they really enjoy one another.

I have experienced those same things (minus the cooking ) with the "Ruth" girls group I have been in and feel really blessed.  It is truly special when your small group becomes very close and you know you've made life long friends. To be involved in a  Bible Study with a group takes a time committment  but  God does knit together those who journey together and it is a great Gift to your soul.  We are very blessed to have so many opportunities to experience this wonderful gift at MBC--check out the side bars of the blog and be involved--the gift is waiting!!!

This week  Kelly Minter and her "Ruth"  Bible study girls encourage us to ponder the willingness of Christ to Redeem.
